Show notes
Train stations. Tegel. What’s next?
Project Tegel is a podcast exploring the intersection of queer experience, forced migration, and the uncertain future facing Ukrainian refugees in Germany.
What does it mean to seek safety when your identity remains at risk?
Blending personal and political, the episode begins with a reflection on the war and the journey that brought thousands of Ukrainians to Berlin. It features three short interviews with queer Ukrainians who live in Tegel refugee camp, sharing their stories of survival, identity, and resilience. The episode concludes with a conversation about the current situation in the camp and the slow wheels of change in the German refugee system.
